TWEAKING OR TWEAKING THE COLORS
"Tweaking" is a slang term that refers to the act of unlawfully hacking an MVT device and modifying its virtual component to enhance the color range used in the feed of augmented reality produced by the device. When the device is modified, the color range it produces can reach highly saturated neon colors, resulting in psychedelic effects. Tweaking can also be used to describe the altered state experienced by individuals who jailbreak their MVT device to hack the feed.
In the post-apocalyptic metropolis of Humanity City, a dangerous trend has emerged within the essential labor class known as "Tweaking," short for Tweaking the colors on MVT implants. The desire for a more vibrant virtual experience has driven citizens to resort to underground procedures, jailbreaking their devices to modify the color range provided in the virtual feed. While this results in a dazzling display of exciting psychedelic hues, the excess stimulation can have a severe detrimental impact on the nervous system, making tweaking a dangerous and escalating phenomenon in Humanity City. Unfortunately, the euphoric and psychedelic effects produced by the hacked MVT are highly addictive, posing significant risks to those caught in this growing epidemic.
